Add a nutritious twist to your favourite sweet breakfast by swapping the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour. Enjoy a stack of these delicious crepes with chocolate sauce, sliced fruit or even a drizzle of maple syrup.
3 eggs 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 cup milk ¾ cup water ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ¼ teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons melted butter 1 teaspoon sugar
Combine the eggs, milk, water, vanilla extract and butter in a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, add the flour, salt and sugar before tipping in the wet mixture to make a runny batter.
Grease a pan with more butter and pour a ladleful of the crepe batter before swirling and spreading evenly.
Cook for a couple of minutes on one side and flip it over and cook further for a minute.
Repeat the process until you have enough and serve warm with toppings of your choice.
