Relish Nutritious Palak Puri Before Winter Ends

One of the fun ways to incorporate spinach into your diet is by adding to the dough and making puri out of it. Palak puri is a nutritious Indian flatbread that can be paired with chhole, aloo sabzi, paneer curry, and more.

Ingredients

2 cups palak 1.5 cups atta Ghee as needed A pinch of salt 1 green chilli 1-inch ginger Water as needed

Step 1

Wash spinach leaves thoroughly and blanch them.

Step 2

Puree palak with ginger and green chillies.

Step 3

Pour the palak puree into the flour.

Step 4

Knead a soft dough and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Step 5

Roll small puris and deep-fry them in hot oil or ghee.

Step 6

Serve palak puri with your choice of gravy.
