Aam panna is a classic summertime drink made from raw mangoes and seasonings. This invigorating beverage boasts multiple benefits; it keeps one hydrated in the summer and is believed to aid digestion. Use this simple aam panna recipe to concoct the drink at home.
2 green raw mangoes 1 tbsp mint leaves 3 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp salt 2 tbsp black salt 1 tbsp cumin powder Ice
In a saucepan, boil the raw mangoes with water for approximately 10 minutes until they become tender internally.
Set the mangoes aside to cool; once cooled, remove their skin using a spoon or any other appropriate utensil.
In a grinder, mix the mango pulp with water and crush the pulp thoroughly till a rich and dense paste is formed.
Place the paste in a pan and season it with brown sugar; cook the mixture on a low to medium flame till the sugar has been absorbed entirely.
Take the pan off the heat and introduce cumin powder, black salt, and salt to the concoction.
Strain the mango concoction into a tall of chilled water and blend thoroughly; add mint leaves as garnish and savour or serve the drink as needed.
