Refreshing Kesar Lassi: Prepare It In Just 5 Steps

Homemade Kesar Lassi is a creamy and refreshing drink flavoured with saffron, cardamom, and garnished with pistachios. Perfect for warm days, this traditional Indian beverage is both easy to prepare and irresistible.

Ingredients

1 cup yogurt (curd) 1/4 cup milk 7-8 saffron strands 3 tsp sugar A pinch of cardamom powder Pistachios for garnishing

Step 1

Heat a pan and add saffron strands for 30 seconds to release the aroma.

Step 2

Turn off the heat and add 1 tbsp of warm milk to the saffron. Let the saffron soak in the warm milk for 15 minutes.

Step 3

In a blender, combine yogurt, milk, saffron-infused milk, sugar, and cardamom powder.

Step 4

Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and frothy.

Step 5

Pour the Kesar Lassi into glasses and garnish with chopped pistachios. Serve chilled for the best taste.
