Refreshing Kesar Kairi Paani Cooler For The Summer

The simple flavours of the tart raw mango and the earthy cardamom and saffron come together in this summer special beverage which is perfect to sip on in place of consuming caffeine, and a welcome change from the aam panna.

INGREDIENTS

1 raw mango, rated 5-6 fresh mint leaves 2 teaspoons jaggery powder 3 strands saffron ½ teaspoon cardamom powder

METHOD

Blend together the raw mango and mint leaves with some water.

Strain the liquid and add the jaggery powder, saffron and cardamom powder.

METHOD

Mix well to combine and add some more water to bring it to a sherbet-like consistency.

METHOD

Let it chill in the fridge for 2 hours once bottled.

METHOD

Shake the bottle well, before serving cold and enjoy.
