Jaljeera is a hydrating and lip-smacking summer drink that helps to keep you cool by beating the heat. You can either drink a glass of this chilled beverage or add it to golgappas and have double the fun.
Water - 8 cups Mint leaves - 1/2 cup Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup Cumin - 2 tablespoons Imli chutney - 1 tablespoon Lemon juice - 5 tablespoons Sugar syrup - 4 tablespoons Black salt - 1 teaspoon Ice cubes
Heat 1/4 cup of water and add the tangy imli chutney to it.
Blend the mint leaves, coriander leaves, imli water, cumin, lemon juice, and sugar syrup.
Add some water and blend till you get a smooth liquid.
Sieve the concentrated mixture to get rid of any leaves.
Mix the sieved remains in chilled water.
Add black salt and some more lemon juice as per your preference.
Stir in some ice cubes, and your jaljeera will be ready.
