Sattu could be the key ingredient for your summer! This nutritious superfood can be used to make anything from juice and ghol to parathas. Starting your day with sattu juice or sattu ghol can give you a nutritious start to your day. Here's how to make it at home.

Ingredients

– 2-3 tablespoons of sattu (roasted gram flour) – 1-2 teaspoons of jaggery or sugar  – A pinch of black salt – 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder – A few mint leaves (optional) – 2 cups of cold water – Ice cubes (optional)

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, add sattu (roasted gram flour). Add jaggery or sugar, black salt, and roasted cumin powder to the sattu.

Step 2

Gradually add cold water to the sattu mixture while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. You can use a blender or a whisk to ensure the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Step 3

Pour the sattu mixture into glasses. Add ice cubes if desired to make it more refreshing.

Step 4

Garnish with a sprinkle of roasted cumin powder on top for extra flavor. Sattu ghol is best served chilled. You can also add a squeeze of lemon juice for a tangy twist or some finely chopped green chilies.
