Red rice dosa is a unique take on the classic dosa recipe but it is as flavourful and perfect to serve for breakfast or even lunch. It goes well with a variety of chutneys, such as coconut, tomato, and sambar, as well. Here's a recipe for you to try:
2 cups of red rice 1/2 cup urad dal 1/4 cup of poha 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for cooking
Let the fenugreek seeds, red rice, urad dal, and poha soak in water for six hours.
Drain, then use water to grind into a smooth batter. Add the salt and ferment the batter for eight to twelve hours.
Spread the batter thinly on a heated pan, add a little oil, and cook until the batter turns golden brown.
Serve the dosa with chutney and sambar alongside.
