Slathered with garlic butter and with a gooey cheese centre, these Korean-style buns are a perfect drinking snack to enjoy with a cocktail or some beer; or even as an evening snack.

2 medium-sized milk buns 5 tablespoons soft cream cheese 1 tablespoon fresh cream 1 spring onion, chopped 1 teaspoon dried oregano ¼ cup melted butter 1 tablespoon minced garlic

Make an ‘x’ shaped slit across the top surface of the bun without cutting all the way through.

Combine the cream cheese, fresh cream, spring onion and oregano in a bowl and spoon into the crevices.

Mix together the garlic with the butter and brush it generously over the stuffed buns.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes and serve hot.
