Recipe For The Authentic Kashmiri Noon Chai

Kashmiri Noon Chai is prepared with exotic tea leaves and has a distinguishingly pink colour. Here is a quick recipe for this special chai which is rich in flavour and is relished with a crunchy snack called Khaja!

Ingredients 3 teaspoon Tea leaves 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 tablespoon baking soda 3 cup milk 2 cup water 3 green cardamom

STEP 1

Take a pan and pour one cup of water into it. Make sure the flame is medium, and let the water come to a boil.

STEP 2

Now add tea leaves, cardamom, and baking soda. Whisk all the ingredients for 30 seconds. 

STEP 3

At this stage, add milk, sugar, and salt. Stir the mixture well and bring it to a boil.

STEP 4

Lower the flame and let the mixture simmer for another 5 minutes. 

STEP 5

Now strain the tea and serve hot with delicious snacks!
