One of the Indian chutney recipes that goes well with most Indian snacks is raw mango and tomato chutney. Its tangy, sweet, and spicy notes make it a winner among summer dishes. Here is an easy-to-follow recipe for you.
2 tomatoes 1 mango 1 small onion 2-3 dried red chillies 4-5 cloves of garlic 7-8 curry leaves 1 tablespoon oil Salt to taste 2-3 green red chillies
Heat a saucepan and add oil to it. Add half-cut tomato, mango, and onion slices to it.
Once the ingredients start getting charred, turn them over, and add garlic, red chillies, and green chillies.
Saute the ingredients after adding curry leaves and salt to taste. After 4-5 minutes, turn off the flame and let the ingredients cool off.
Remove the skin of the tomato and mango. Add everything into a food processor.
Blend ingredients into a coarse paste. Add splashes of water to adjust the consistency and salt to adjust the taste.
Store the chutney in an airtight container and serve with your favourite snack.
