If you are hungry and only have to cook, opt for making rava masala idli. It is the simplest recipe you can try to enjoy a fulfilling meal. You can also keep extra idli in the refrigerator and prepare idli fry.
2 cups sooji 1.25 cups curd 1.5 cups water 2 tsp Eno Salt to taste 2 tsp podi masala 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp chana dal 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp urad dal 7-8 curry leaves ½ tsp red chilli powder
Take a large pot and mix sooji, curd, and water in it.
Heat oil in a pan and saute chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and red chilli powder.
Add the tempering and podi masala to the rava batter. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Add Eno to the batter and grease idli moulds.
Pour the batter into idli moulds and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Enjoy rava masala idli with chutney of your choice.
