Rava idli is the easiest breakfast or snack recipe you can instantly whip up if you crave the South Indian staple. The batter is prepared using curd to achieve soft and impeccably round discs. Check out the recipe.
2 cups rava 1 cup curd 1 cup water Salt to taste 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp oil 2 tsp ENO 1 tsp mustard seeds 8-10 curry leaves
Mix rava, curd, and water. Keep the mixture aside.
Pour the tempering of oil, red chilli powder, mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
Adjust the consistency by adding more water.
Add ENO or any fruit salt of your choice. Stir the batter.
Grease idli moulds and pour the batter in them.
Steam the idli for 15-20 minutes and enjoy with chutney or sambar.
