Iftar is a treat that devotees enjoy post-sunset after fasting throughout the day. One of the best ways to break fast is by eating hydrating and fibre-rich food items that include fruits. You can make delicious and a delicious variety of fruit chaat to enjoy the evening meal and serve to guests.
If you like tangy citrus flavours, make a bowl of fruit chaat with grapefruits, oranges, pomelo, and key lime. Top it with chaat masala, red chilli powder, and lemon juice.
If you visit the nearby farmer’s market, you can get a variety of berries, including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Add lemon juice and chaat masala to enjoy.
Mango season is here, and you can make Iftar more special with a bowl of mango chaat. Sprinkle black salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder, and lemon juice before digging in.
With the rising temperature, it is time to include hydrating fruits like melon in your diet. Make fruit chaat with musk melon, watermelon, and cantaloupe. Add honey on the top and relish.
Currently, you can find the farmer’s market flooded with a variety of fruits. Add them all to a bowl, and season with black salt, chaat masala, lemon juice, and red chilli flakes.
Yoghurt is also an ideal pick to be added to fruit chaat. You can elevate the flavours of classic fruit by adding yoghurt and sprinkling cardamom powder on the top.
Take a bowl, and add pomegranate, apple slices, watermelon, mint leaves, and toasted almonds. Add it to the Iftar spread after infusing it with honey, lemon juice, and black salt.
