Rajgira Laddu: Millet-Based Sweet You Must Relish This Festive Season

Rajgira or amaranth is a variety of millet that you can use in your kitchen in various ways. From preparing roti to making laddu, this ingredient will make all your meals nutritious. Here is an easy recipe for laddus.

Ingredients

2-3 tsp ghee 1 cup rajgira flour 2 tbsp cashews 1 cup jaggery 2 tbsp raisins

Step 1

Heat a heavy bottom pan and add ghee to it.

Step 2

Roast rajgira flour in ghee until it turns brown and aromatic.

Step 3

Add jaggery to the pan and continue stirring. It will start melting.

Step 4

Keep the thick yet binding paste aside to cool off. Add crushed dry fruits.

Step 5

Combine the ingredients and shape the sweet rajgira flour into laddus.

Step 6

Press raisin into each laddu and store it in an airtight container.
