Ingredients

1 cup Moong Dal 1/2 cup chopped onions 2-3 green chillies 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves 1 teaspoon jeera 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger A pinch of hing Salt to taste Oil for frying

Step 1

Rinse and soak moong dal for about 3-4 hours. Grind the soaked moong dal till smooth.

Step 2

Mix the ground moong dal with chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, jeera, hing, and salt.

Step 3

Add a little water if the consistency of the batter is too thick.

Heat up some oil and deep fry small portions of the batter to make the pakodas.
