By Jhuisha Lunia

Though garlic pickles and chutney have a whole lot of versions around the country, Rajasthani cuisine may have the best of it all. Here’s an easy recipe to make Rajasthani Lahsun Chutney at home.

Ingredients 50 gm Dried Red Chilli 125 gm Peeled Garlic 2 Inch Chopped Ginger 2 tsp Tamarind Paste 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 1.5 tsp Salt Oil

Saute dried red chilli with ⅓ cup of oil on  for 2-3 minutes on low flame. Remove chilli and add garlic cloves and ginger and saute for 2-3 minutes on low flame. Turn off the gas, add tamarind, jeera and salt, and saute well.

Cool down the mixture and mix it with dried red chilli. Grind it coarsely first and add oil in place of water for more durability. Grind again into a fine paste. Your authentic Rajasthani style Lahsun Chutney is ready.
