Ragi Uttapam: A Healthy And Tasty Breakfast

Ingredients

34 cup ragi flour, 1/2 cup semolina, 1 cup yogurt,  1 cup onion (finely chopped), ½ green capsicum (finely chopped), 1 inch ginger (finely chopped), 1 green chillies, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 10-12 curry leaves, 1 tsp baking soda, salt to taste, oil as required

Step 1

Combine semolina and ¾ cup yogurt in a bowl and mix. Add ragi flour, onion, capsicum, ginger, green chillies, cumin seeds and mustard seeds and mix well.

Step 2

Add the remaining yogurt and water. Mix well and set aside for 5 minutes. Add curry leaves, baking soda and salt to prepared flour mixture and mix well.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick tawa, put some oil in and pour a ladleful of the mixture. Spread into the shape of uttapam and roast both the sides until slightly golden. Serve hot.
