Ragi Pancakes For Breakfast: A Nutrient-Dense Dish To Kick-Start Your Day

Ragi is a superfood that is loaded with various nutrients. Here is an easy recipe to make ragi pancakes that is perfect to start your day in a healthy way.

Ingredients

1 cup ragi flour, 1/2 cup refined flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, salt to taste, ¼ cup castor sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla essence, ¾ cup milk, 2 tbsp butter, strawberries (sliced) for garnish, blueberries for garnish, icing sugar for dusting, maple syrup for garnish

Step 1

Sieve both the flour and baking powder into a bowl with salt and castor sugar. Add eggs, vanilla essence, milk and butter and whisk till you get a smooth batter.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick pan, drizzle some melted butter and wipe it with a tissue. Pour a ladle of batter and cook on both sides till done.

Stack the pancakes one on top of the other on a plate. Dust icing sugar through a sieve and garnish with berries. Drizzle maple syrup all over and serve.
