Halwa is a classic North Indian dessert that can be enjoyed to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you are looking for a guil-free twist, you can make it with ragi flour with this easy recipe.
1 cup millet flour 1 cup milk 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup ghee 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder Chopped nuts for garnish
Roast any millet flour like foxtail or barnyard till fragrant. Set aside.
In a separate pan, mix milk, water, ghee, and sugar. Let it simmer.
Mix in roasted millet flour and cardamom powder and cook till the mixture thickens.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve it warm.
