Ragi chilla is a nutritious, gluten-free pancake made with ragi flour, onions, and spices. Rich in calcium and fibre, it’s a perfect healthy breakfast or snack option which is crisp, flavourful, and easy to make.
1 cup ragi flour (finger millet flour) 1/4 cup chopped onions 1/4 cup grated carrots 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1 green chilli 1/2 tsp cumin seeds Salt to taste 1 1/4 cup water Oil
In a bowl, mix ragi flour, onions, carrots, green chilli, cumin seeds, coriander, and salt.
Gradually add water to make a smooth, flowing batter (like dosa batter).
Heat a non-stick pan, lightly grease it, and pour a ladle of batter. Spread it thinly.
Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook on medium heat until crisp and golden. Flip and cook the other side.
Serve hot with green chutney or curd.
