Ragda patties is a flavourful street food that is popular all over the country. Here is an easy recipe to prepare this monsoon treat at home.
5 cup ragda (prepare in advance), 2 cup green chutney, 2 cup sweet chutney, 2 cup of yoghurt raita, For Patties: 10 potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed), 5 tbsp corn flour, salt as per taste, oil for shallow frying, For Topping: 1 onion finely chopped, sev, chopped coriander leaves, chaat masala, amchur powder
Combine the potatoes with corn flour, coriander leaves and salt. Make balls and gently flatten them with your palm. Then shallow fry the patties with little oil.
Take serving plate and place 2 fried patties over it. Pour some ragda over it enough to cover them. Pour some green chutney, sweet chutney and some sev.
Now put some yogurt raita, followed by some green and sweet chutney. Sprinkle some sev, chopped onion, coriander leaves, chaat masala and amchur powder. Enjoy.
