Power-packed with protein and fibre, quinoa is a perfect grain for a wholesome meal which is also weight loss friendly.
1 cup quinoa 1 large onion 1/2 capsicum (green pepper) 1/2 carrot 1/4 cup shredded cabbage 3 tablespoon gram flour (besan) 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon dry mango powder salt as required 2 tablespoon coriander leaves 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Soak quinoa for 30 minutes. Wash and blend it to form a thick paste.
Now add onion, capsicum, carrot, cabbage and coriander leaves to the paste followed by besan, salt, coriander powder, dry mango powder and red chilli powder. Mix well for a thick mixture.
Now heat a tbsp of oil on a non-stick pan. Make small tikkis from the mixture and place them in the pan.
Cook from both sides until golden brown in colour. Once all the cutlets are cooked, serve them with a dip of your choice.
