Lassi is an excellent refreshing drink that is popularly consumed in Punjab and various parts of North India. Made with curd, it keeps the body cool and helps it beat the heat when the mercury refuses to drop down. Here is a quick recipe for watermelon lassi that you can try out.
1 cup curd Ice cubes 2 cups diced watermelon Fresh mint leaves 1-2 tablespoons sugar or honey ½ teaspoon crushed cardamom seeds
Add all the ingredients, except for cardamom seeds and mint leaves, to a blender.
Combine the ingredients well so that you can achieve a smooth base.
Taste the lassi and adjust the sweetness. You can also add some water to adjust its consistency.
Add ice cubes to the lassi and blend again. It will make the beverage frothy and chilled.
Pour the watermelon lassi into glasses and top it with cardamom seeds and fresh mint leaves.
Serve lassi immediately after garnishing and enjoy it with stuffed paratha or any meal of the day.
