Looking for a healthy, homemade snack? Roasted moong dal namkeen is the perfect choice! Crispy, protein-rich, and easy to make, this snack can be enjoyed guilt-free any time.
Rinse and soak 1 cup of moong dal in water for 1-2 hours. Drain it well afterward.
Use a kitchen towel to pat the soaked moong dal dry, as removing moisture helps it become crispier.
Heat a pan or kadhai and add 1-2 teaspoons of oil. Add the dried moong dal and roast on low to medium flame.
Sprinkle salt, chaat masala, and a pinch of turmeric for flavor. Keep stirring until the dal turns golden and crispy.
Let it cool completely, then store it in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
