Sweet Corn Chaat is a popular Indian street food snack made with boiled sweet corn kernels tossed in tangy and spicy flavours, perfect for a quick and tasty treat.
2 cups sweet corn kernels, boiled 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 small tomato, finely chopped 1 green chilli, finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder (optional) Juice of 1 lemon Fresh coriander leaves, chopped Salt to taste
Cook the sweet corn kernels in boiling water for about 5 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
In a bowl, combine chopped onion, tomato, and green chilli.
Add chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt to the bowl. Mix well.
Add the boiled sweet corn kernels to the bowl with the prepared vegetables and spices.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the mixture and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Toss gently and serve!
