Learn how to make a mouth-watering cheese dosa at home using leftover dosa batter, fresh veggies, and cheese. This filling snack is best enjoyed with coconut chutney or sambar for a delightful meal.
1.5 cups dosa batter 1 large onion, finely chopped 1 large tomato, finely chopped ½ cup grated cheese (processed or mozzarella) 2 to 3 basil leaves, chopped 1 to 2 tsp dried oregano Butter or oil as required
Heat a greased skillet or tawa on low flame until well-heated.
Pour a ladle of dosa batter onto the skillet and gently spread it.
When the top begins cooking, add chopped onions and tomatoes evenly.
Sprinkle basil leaves, oregano, and grated cheese on top of the dosa.
Spread some butter around the edges and on the dosa to enhance crispiness. Cook until the dosa base turns golden, and the cheese melts completely.
Fold the dosa, serve it hot with coconut chutney or sambar. Enjoy!
