All you need on a night with thunderstorms is warm and comforting food. And what’s better than a traditional bowl of sewiyan that is not only easy to make but also utterly delicious?
Vermicelli - 1/2 cup Milk - 2 cups Sugar - as per taste Ghee - 2 tablespoons Cardamom powder - a pinch Chopped dry fruits for garnishing
Heat some ghee and roast vermicelli till golden brown.
In another pan, heat some milk. Let it boil and then simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add the roasted vermicelli and sugar to the milk. Let it cook till the sugar dissolves.
Mix in a pinch of cardamom powder. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
