Elevate your meals with this easy-to-make instant lehsun aachar recipe. The tangy and spicy flavors of garlic pickle will add a zesty kick to your favorite dishes in no time.
1 cup garlic cloves (peeled) 3 tbsp mustard oil (or any cooking oil) 1 tsp red chili powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds (methi) 1/2 tsp asafoetida (hing) Salt to taste 2 tbsp lemon juice
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds, Add asafoetida, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Stir well.
Add the peeled garlic cloves to the pan and sauté until it turns slightly golden. Coat with spices.
Continue cooking until the garlic cloves become tender. Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool down.
Once done add lemon juice and mix well. Transfer the aachar to a dry glass jar. Allow it to marinate for at least a day. Enjoy!
