Pudina chutney is a refreshing, zesty condiment made from fresh mint leaves, coriander, and green chillies. Bursting with vibrant flavours, it adds a cool, tangy kick to snacks and meals. Perfect with samosas, pakoras, or parathas, it’s a versatile Indian favourite.
1 cup fresh mint leaves (pudina) ½ cup fresh coriander leaves (cilantro) 2-3 green chillies (adjust to taste) 1-inch piece of ginger 1-2 cloves garlic 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp roasted cumin powder Salt Sugar 2-3 tbsp water
Rinse the mint and coriander leaves thoroughly. Roughly chop the ginger and chillies.
In a blender or grinder, add the mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic (if using), lemon juice, roasted cumin powder, salt, and sugar.
Add 2-3 tablespoons of water and blend until smooth. You can adjust the water amount to get the desired consistency.
Check for seasoning and adjust salt or lemon juice as needed.
Serve fresh with snacks like samosas, pakoras, or even with parathas and sandwiches.
