Guacamole is a creamy Mexican dip made from mashed avocados, lime juice, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. It’s freshness makes it a perfect accompaniment to tortilla chips, tacos, and burritos and toasts.
3 ripe avocados 1 onion 1-2 tomatoes 1-2 green chillies or jalapeños 2 tbsp fresh cilantro 2 tbsp lime juice 1 clove garlic
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocados with a fork until you reach your desired consistency.
Add the chopped onion, tomatoes, green chilies, cilantro, and lime juice to the mashed avocado. Stir everything together gently.
Add salt to taste and adjust lime juice as needed.everything together gently.
Add minced garlic or a pinch of cumin powder for a flavour boost.
Serve the guacamole immediately with tortilla chips, or use it as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads.
