Make your favourite snack, Bread Pakora guilt-free by preparing it in an air fryer without the use of excess oil. These pakoras taste just as good as the traditional deep-fried ones and the best part is that you don't have to be present in the kitchen while your pakoras are being prepared.
4 slices of bread 1 cup gram flour (besan) 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1/2 tsp cumin seeds Salt to taste Water, as needed 1 small boiled potato, mashed (optional) Chutney or ketchup for stuffing (optional) Oil spray
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
In a bowl, stir together gram flour, turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, and salt. To get an ideal batter, add water as needed.
Drizzle the bread pieces with chutney or spread the mashed potatoes. Slices of bread should be cut diagonally and dipped in batter.
After coating the bread, put it in the air fryer basket and mist it with oil. Air fry until golden and crispy, about 8 to 10 minutes, turning halfway through.
