Quick And Delicious Malpua by Chanda Keshri

Ingredients

2 cups flour 1 cup semolina 4 cups full cream milk 2 cups water 4 pistachios 4 almonds 4 cashews 5 to 6 black pepper 2 cardamoms 1 tsp fennel oil or pure ghee for frying as needed For sugar syrup 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup water 6-8 strands of saffron 1 tsp cardamom 

Step 1

First of all, sift the flour and semolina. Put 2 cups of water in the semolina and keep it for 1 hour to swell. 

Step 2

Now, make a lump free batter by adding milk slowly to the flour. 

Step 3

Coarsely grind all the dry fruits, fennel and black pepper and put them in the flour mix. Cover it for 30 mins and add semolina dissolved in water to it.
