Pinni is the traditionally made sweet in Punjabi households. If you want a quick boost of energy, having a pinni in the changing season is just the perfect way. Follow this easy recipe to make a batch at home.
2 cups atta 1 cup ghee 1 cup jaggery ½ cup almonds ¼ cup cashews ¼ cup pistachios 1 tablespoon raisins 1 teaspoon cardamom
Heat some ghee and roast atta till golden brown and fragrant,
Remove the heat, spread the roasted flour on a plate and let it cool.
Once cool, grind the mixture to make a fine powder. Mix in jaggery till well combined.
Add chopped almonds, cashews, pistachios, and raisins. Mix well.
Once combined, shape the mixture into small balls and enjoy.
