Aloo paratha is a popular Indian flatbread stuffed with seasoned mashed potatoes. It's a flavourful breakfast option enjoyed with butter, curd, and pickle. Learn the perfect stuffing and rolling techniques.
2 cups Wheat Flour 1 tsp Salt ¾ cup Water
2 large Potatoes, boiled, peeled & mashed 1 tsp Chilli Powder 1 tsp Chaat Masala Powder 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder Salt to taste 1 Green Chilli, finely chopped ½ tsp Ajwain (Carom Seeds) ¼ tbsp Coriander leaves, finely chopped
Mix wheat flour, salt, and water in a bowl; knead into a soft dough and let rest for 30 minutes.
Combine the mashed potatoes with all the filling ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Divide the dough and potato filling into equal portions. Flatten a dough portion, place the filling inside, seal the edges, and shape into a smooth ball.
Dust with flour, gently flatten, and roll into a thick paratha. Cook the paratha on a hot pan until golden on both sides, using ghee, oil, or butter.
