A creamy and simple dip to enjoy with cucumber sticks, pita chips or lavash – this pumpkin hummus is a gloriously orange colour that is perfect for the season.

250 grams orange pumpkin, roasted 3 garlic cloves 1 cup cooked chickpeas 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon cumin powder Juice of 1 lemon 2 tablespoons tahini paste ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder Salt and pepper, to taste

Cube the roasted pumpkin and add it to a blender jar along with the garlic, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and chickpeas.

Blend to a smooth paste before seasoning with salt, pepper and transferring to a serving bowl.
