A tasty and wholesome vegetarian or vegan option derived mostly from soybeans are protein-rich soy cutlets. They provide excellent plant-based protein sources.
1 cup soya protein 1 boiled potato 1 onion 2-3 cloves of garlic 1 green chili 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1/2 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp red chili powder Salt to taste 2 tbsp bread crumbs 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves Oil for frying
Start by soaking the soy protein in warm water for about 15 minutes until they become soft.
Then drain the water and squeeze out. In bowl, combine the soaked soya , mashed potato, chopped onion, minced garlic and green chili.
Add cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, salt, bread crumbs, and chopped coriander leaves.
Combine ingredients well. Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into round or oval cutlet.
Roll each cutlet in additional bread crumbs to coat them evenly. Heat oil and shallow fry until crisp.
Put them on a napkin, Drain access oil. Serve it in a dish with your favourite dipping sauce.
