Your non-stick utensils are investment that you need to tend to often. They are susceptible to damage if you do not take proper care. Here are some tips to keep your utensils damage free for long.
Always allow your non-stick pans to cool down completely before washing.
Wash your pans manually and not in a dishwasher. The coating might erode.
Only use soft sponges to clean your utensils. Steel wool is not recommended at all.
Always dry your pan completely before storing them. Use a tissue or soft towel.
Do not use sharp utensils like fork to scrape food out of the pan. The non-stick coat deteriorates.
