Learn how to make crispy homemade potato sticks with this simple recipe. Using boiled potatoes, cheese, and a few spices, you can create a tasty snack that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

2 large potatoes, boiled 3 tbsp grated mozzarella cheese 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp red chilli flakes Salt to taste 1 tsp garlic powder ½ cup cornflour/cornstarch Oil for deep frying

Step 1

Mash the boiled potatoes and mix them with cheese, oregano, chilli flakes, salt, and garlic powder.

Step 2

Add cornflour to the mixture and knead it into a smooth dough. Place the dough between parchment paper and shape it into a square.

Step 3

Refrigerate the dough for 20 to 30 minutes to firm up.

Step 4

Cut the chilled dough into strips to form the potato sticks. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the potato sticks until golden brown.

Step 5

Drain the potato sticks on paper towels and serve hot.
