Butter popcorn made in a kadai is a simple yet flavourful snack. Perfect for any time of day, this recipe requires just a few ingredients and a quick roasting process for crispy, buttery popcorn.

Ingredients

2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp butter ½ cup popcorn kernels

Step 1

Heat 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large kadai.

Step 2

Add ½ cup popcorn kernels to the kadai and roast on low flame.

Step 3

Stir gently until the popcorn starts to puff slightly. Immediately cover the kadai with a lid and keep the flame low.

Step 4

Wait until all the popcorn pops up completely.

Step 5

Once ready, serve your butter popcorn warm and enjoy.
