This cheesy, spicy minced prawn toast is the best example of an evening snack that is fluffy and crunchy at the same time. Pair it with your cup of chai or coffee for the best experience!
7-8 medium prawns 4 slices white bread 1 cheese cube 1 tablespoon soy sauce ½ tablespoon black pepper powder 1 tablespoon red chilli flakes 1 clove garlic 1 spring onion, chopped Salt, to taste Oil, for pan-frying
Add the prawns to the food processor along with the cheese, soy sauce, onion, garlic, chilli flakes and black pepper.
Grind to a coarse paste and transfer to a small bowl.
Season with salt and spread a layer of the mince over the bread.
Place it face side down in the hot oil in a shallow frying pan, and fry for 3-4 minutes until browned.
Flip to the second side and fry for another minute before taking out on absorbent paper towels, slicing and serving hot.
