Easy Banana Spinach Smoothie For Breakfast On-The-Go

Combining the sweetness of bananas with the nutritional powerhouse of spinach, this banana spinach smoothie offers a delectable and convenient way to boost your intake of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. 

Ingredients

1 ripe banana 1 cup of fresh spinach leaves 1/2 cup of Greek yoghurt 1/2 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy) Honey or protein powder 

Step 1 

Peel the banana and break it into chunks. Rinse the spinach leaves thoroughly and remove any tough stems. 

Step 2

In a blender, combine the banana chunks, spinach leaves, yoghurt, and milk. Optionally, add a drizzle of honey or a scoop of protein powder for added sweetness or protein boost. 

Step 3

Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary. 

Step 4  

Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately for a nutritious and refreshing breakfast or snack. Optionally, garnish with additional banana slices or a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
