Punjabi cuisine is filled with a wide variety of halwas. To make a comforting bowl of rich dessert, you must try potato halwa. Just follow these simple steps and your aloo halwa will be ready in no time.
500 grams potatoes 200 grams sugar 100 grams ghee 4-5 green cardamom pods, crushed A pinch of saffron Chopped dry fruits
Boil the potatoes. Peel and mash them thoroughly. Set aside.
Heat some ghee and cook mashed potatoes till golden brown.
Add sugar and stir till it dissolves. Mix in crushed cardamom and saffron.
Garnish with chopped dry fruits and relish aloo halwa.
