Holi, the festival of colours is full of fervour and enthusiasm along with indulgence in delicious treats. However, eating lots of sweets and fries can make you feel tired and not so good afterwards. It is here that the post-Holi detox comes to play. It is not about stopping eating but helping your body to get rid of toxins faster and feel better again. Here are certain foods that help you to detox your body and feel better again:
This green leafy plays the role of unsung hero for the body. It helps in digestion and keeps you full for longer time. You can use in salads or smoothies.
Water keeps you hydrated and flushes out the toxins from the body. While lemon is high in Vitamin C and antioxidants that promote detoxification enzyme when mixed with water.
