Sweet, tart and chunky are few ways to describe this delicious plum jam that you can make with the last of the stone fruit and prolong enjoying it a little longer.

250 grams fresh plums, chopped ¾ cup sugar ½ teaspoon lemon zest 1 pinch citric acid crystals

Add the plums and sugar to a saucepan and allow it to cook until the sugar melts and bubbles.

Stir well to let the juices thicken before turning off the flame and adding in the lemon zest and citric acid crystals.

Stir to combine and allow the crystals to dissolve completely.

Cool and store in an air-tight jar for up to 30 days.
