Dosa is a staple across many Indian households, not just in South India. It is lightweight, hearty, and easy to digest. When paired with sambar and chutney, the entire meal leaves your mouth slabbering even before the dosa is served on your plate. However, if you are craving pizza and dosa, here is how you can combine the best of Italian and South Indian cuisines.
2 cups dosa batter 4 tbsp pizza sauce 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese ½ cup capsicum, bell peppers ¼ cup olives ¼ cup sliced onion ½ cup boiled corn 2 tbsp butter
On a hot griddle, spread a thin layer of dosa batter.
Add butter on the edges. Let the batter cook and harden.
Once the base is slightly brown, spread pizza sauce on dosa.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and lay your favourite toppings.
Add some more cheese and let it melt by covering the dosa with a lid or plate.
Serve the dosa on a plate, without rolling, and enjoy pizza dosa.
