Pizza is one of the most popular dishes around the world, and there are many variations of it. However, one thing that makes pizza unique is the sauce that goes on top of the dough. While red sauce is the most common, there's also the option of bianco pizza sauce. Bianco sauce is a white sauce made from a combination of cheeses, garlic, herbs, and other ingredients.
1 cup of whole milk ricotta cheese 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese 2 cloves of garlic, minced 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh basil 1 teaspoon of dried oregano Salt and pepper to taste
In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
Add the minced garlic, olive oil, fresh basil, and dried oregano to the cheese mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.
Transfer the sauce to a saucepan and heat it over medium-low heat. Cook for about 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the sauce is heated through.
Once the sauce is ready, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly before using it as a pizza topping.
