For a quick solution to your hunger pangs, you need snacks that can be stored for a long and take less time to prepare. One such recipe is the pinwheel samosa. While it will take time to prepare, you can store these in an airtight jar and fry them whenever you are hungry.

Ingredients

For Stuffing 1 tsp amchur powder 2 boiled potatoes Salt to taste ½ tsp turmeric 2 tbsp coriander powder ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp ginger garlic paste ¼ tsp cumin powder ½ tsp garam masala 2 tbsp coriander leaves

Ingredients

2 tbsp sooji 1 cup maida 2 tbsp oil ½ tsp sugar ½ tsp salt ½ tsp carom seeds Water as needed Oil for deep frying 2 tbsp maida ¼ cup water

Step 1

Take a bowl and combine maida, sooji, salt, sugar, carom seeds, and oil. Knead this into a soft dough and keep it aside to rest.

Step 2

In another bowl, combine all the ingredients for stuffing. Avoid using fresh coriander leaves and ginger garlic paste if you store them raw.

Step 3

After 20 minutes, divide the dough into four parts. Dust each part with maida and roll it.

Step 4

Spread the aloo mixture, roll the dough, and slice into even pinnis. Dip each piece in the maida-water slurry.

Step 5

Freeze these and store them in the refrigerator or deep-fry in hot oil until the crust turns golden brown and crispy.
