Made with desi ghee, wheat flour, jaggery and almonds, this Punjabi delicacy is perfect to keep yourself warm during winters. Here is an easy recipe to make pinni at home.

250 g wheat flour, 250 g ghee, 250 g sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 15 g green cardamom powder, 25 g cashew nut, 25 g almond, 25 g raisins

In a skillet, heat ghee and fry wheat flour on a low flame stirring continuously till it is brown in colour.

Switch off the heat and transfer it to a plate. Allow it to cool until it is warm in temperature.

Add sugar and cardamom to the mixture. Sprinkle milk, divide it into equal portions.

Shape the portions into laddoos. Garnish each ball with the dry fruits and enjoy.
