Kuttu cheela, made from buckwheat flour, is a popular dish during fasting periods and festivals. This crispy, savoury pancake is light on the stomach and packed with nutrition, making it a perfect choice for a wholesome meal.
In a bowl, mix 1 cup of kuttu (buckwheat) flour, 1 finely chopped green chilli, grated ginger, and a pinch of rock salt. Add water gradually to form a smooth, lump-free batter.
Heat a non-stick tawa on medium flame and lightly grease it with ghee or oil.
Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it thin to get a crisp texture.
Let it cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
Serve with curd or green chutney for a delicious snack.
